“I often sing with my eyes closed, because music takes me to a place of refuge, of peace, of bliss and the feeling of that moment is indescribable. I realized I wanted to share that experience and inspire people to find that place for themselves... I had no idea when I set out on this adventure what I would encounter. As time went on I started peeling back layers of myself - of my lyrics, to eliminate excess and to expose the truth. Somewhere along the way I began to play and perform precisely how I always wanted - eyes and heart wide open.”
